Overview of AI-GaaS

AI-GaaS involves offering AI computing resources, tools and models as a decentralized service through the OmniTensor platform. In contrast to conventional AI setups dominated by major tech companies, OmniTensor’s AI-GaaS runs on a community-driven decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN), which relies on contributions of GPU power from individuals. This approach creates a global AI compute grid that allocates resources dynamically based on demand.

The AI-GaaS system includes two primary components:

  1. GPU Compute Nodes Community members contribute unused GPU processing power to form a decentralized network, which supports tasks like AI training, inference and model hosting.

  2. AI OmniChain A Layer-2 system built on top of Ethereum's virtual machine (EVM) to provide scalability and smooth interaction between AI services and blockchain operations.

By merging decentralized blockchain technology with AI computing, OmniTensor offers a flexible infrastructure that adjusts to the requirements of its users, supported by the DualProof consensus system, which ensures secure and verified AI processes and resource distribution.
